**Job Summary**

As a seasoned Bid Manager, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end bid management processes to ensure the preparation of high-quality, competitive submissions. 'Key Responsibilities' include:

  • Managing the full bid lifecycle, from opportunity identification to submission.
  • Overseeing the development of proposals, including financial forecasting, risk assessment, and resource allocation.
  • Working closely with internal teams—HSE, Marketing, Sales, Operations, People & Culture, Finance, and Commercial—to align bids with company goals.
  • Driving business growth by crafting compelling sole and unsolicited bid strategies.
  • Fostering strong relationships with external partners, clients, and industry bodies to support market expansion.
  • Ensuring all proposals adhere to compliance, governance, and risk management frameworks.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to create data-driven, persuasive proposals that meet client needs.
  • Continuously refining bid processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintaining a steadfast commitment to health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) standards.

About You

  • You hold a tertiary qualification with at least 10 years of experience in bid management, proposals, or a related role within construction, demolition, civil, or remediation industries.
  • You possess expertise in business development, tendering, and strategic estimating.
  • You have a proven track record of crafting and executing successful bid strategies.
  • You excel in organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • You are proficient in bid management tools, software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • You demonstrate strong leadership abilities to coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • You exhibit an analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • You can travel as needed to support business development efforts.
