Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 8 accountants and control your own book of clients from start to finish
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Oversee the preparation of financial accounts, income tax returns, and business activity statements for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
  • Draft tax advice to clients on complex transactions
  • Mentor and manage a group of junior accountants
  • Ensure the effective use of IT systems and infrastructure
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives
  • Support other managers and directors to achieve their tasks
  • Review job budgets, monitor work-in-progress, and adhere to the firm's workflow process
  • Approve fees with accurate and appropriate narratives
