Job Description

As an Apprentice Chef, you will be working alongside experienced chefs to develop your culinary skills and knowledge. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of meals, as well as maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. A genuine interest in the in-flight catering industry and a desire to turn your passion into a career.
  2. Superior presentation skills, a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.
  3. Reliability, punctuality, and a friendly personality with the ability to work within a diverse team.
  4. The means of transport to get to the workplace and TAFE during required hours.
  5. A willingness to learn and work hard.
  6. An acceptance of flexible working hours and the ability to work a rotating roster if required.
  7. Certificate I or II in Hospitality is considered an advantage.
  8. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) from current positions may assist in fast-tracking your qualification.
  9. Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
