A dynamic academic role is available for a highly qualified and experienced professional to join the School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Paramedic Science.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach and coordinate undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Paramedic Science using multi-modal delivery strategies
  • Contribute to the development of engaging teaching materials and effectively collaborate with industry and community partners
  • Participate in research activities publish scholarly work and engage in service to the School and University
Requirements:
  • Lecturer: Postgraduate qualification in Paramedicine or a closely related discipline; teaching qualification or willingness to complete a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education
  • Senior Lecturer: Doctoral (preferred) and/or postgraduate qualifications in paramedicine or equivalent accreditation and standing relevant to the discipline; experience in team leadership and mentoring junior academic staff

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and collaborative work environment and have access to ongoing professional development opportunities. A comprehensive relocation package is also available for successful candidates moving to sunny Queensland.
