Job Title: Aircraft and In-Flight Entertainment System Technician

Job Description:

As an aircraft and in-flight entertainment system technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations to in-flight entertainment systems on aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform built-in tests (BIT) and manual tests of in-flight entertainment systems.
  • Troubleshoot electronic units, cabling, or seat consoles where failures occur down to the line replaceable modules using knowledge of electronic theory.
  • Identify necessary repairs to restore functional acceptance which may require removal and replacement of defective line replaceable modules and/or cabling.
  • Operate a vehicle on airport property and around aircraft.
  • Operate airline communications equipment.
  • Communicate and interface with customers.
Administrative/Documentation:
  • Document testing and repairs using computers and bar-coding equipment.
  • Receive and prepare parts.
  • Assist in tracking spares inventory.
  • Perform other reasonable related duties assigned by immediate supervisors or upper management.
