About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist to join our team in Brisbane. As an Environmental Scientist, you will play a key role in leading the change toward a sustainable and equitable future.

Our Environment group is a tight-knit team, part of a broader group across Northern Territory and Queensland, with a focus on helping industries and governments fulfill their responsibilities to the people they support, as well as the planet that supports us all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage timely and high-quality environmental impact assessments, constraints analyses, strategic assessments, and environmental management plans.
  • Lead a range of projects across various industries such as Energy, Transport, and Water.
  • Assist in the organisation of resources, budgets, and timelines for the management of projects.
  • Mentor junior members of the team.
Requirements
  • Ideally, approx years relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline
  • Environmental impact assessment experience across a number of market sectors
  • You will be a strong team player, influencer, and, most importantly, a real collaborator
  • Confidence in translating technical information into accessible language in your written work and other communications.
