We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our wellbeing workforce in North Queensland Region, Charters Towers. As part of this initiative, you will play a crucial role in providing mental health support to students facing various challenges.
About the Role- You will be responsible for assessing student needs, developing care plans, connecting clients with resources and services, advocating for their rights and offering emotional support.
- You will work as part of schools' established student support teams to enhance wellbeing and mental health support available to students.
- Responsibilities include undertaking individual and group counselling, administering psycho-educational assessments, and coordinating professional training programs.
- Support school communities in responding to critical incidents and emergencies.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote student wellbeing and mental health.

Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field
- Registered Psychologist status
