Job Opportunity: Hospital Coordinator - After Hours

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Hospital Coordinator in an after-hours setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and management to the nursing team and hospital, ensuring safe and quality care that meets current best practice standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing strategic leadership to ensure safe and quality patient care
  • Liaising with Medical Officers, Hospital Executives, and nurse unit managers to ensure effective communication
  • Ensuring optimal staffing levels and cost-efficiency across all areas
  • Overseeing the safety of patients and staff, including risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Leading the hospital's operations during after-hours periods
  • 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in mental health settings, with a focus on acute care
  • Recent experience in managing inpatient mental health services at ANUM level or higher
  • Demonstrated expertise in coordinating and allocating staff resources
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications and other relevant technology
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Able to manage complex projects and portfolios, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes
  • Post-graduate qualifications in mental health-related disciplines or management (desired)
  • Familiarity with relevant awards and enterprise agreements (desired)
