Storeperson Role in Margate

We are seeking a Storeperson to fill this position in the Margate area.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a Council in Australia while being based in the beautiful Moreton Bay Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all procurement functions relating to stores and workshops
  • Raise purchase orders, manage amendments, receive goods, and process invoices
  • Act as the primary contact for customer requests for goods and materials
  • Requisition goods within set timeframes
  • Manage inbound and outbound orders
  • Assist in stock take of store inventory
  • Maintain security over the store's assets (Stock and Fixtures/Fittings and Equipment)
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, approved standards, policies, and procedures
  • Operate plant as required based on department needs
  • Use and maintain plant and equipment
  • Use Windows Suite products and ability to learn other systems

Requirements:

  • Current C class driver's licence
  • Current High-Risk Work licence - Forklift Truck
  • Certification in Front End Loader operation
