We are seeking an NDIS Coordinator to work collaboratively with our Local Area Coordination, Community, and Early Childhood teams to support the implementation of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

This role provides an office-based presence, based in Baptcare hubs, and involves providing information, linkage, and capacity-building support to communities to build awareness, capacity, and improve opportunities for people with disabilities to participate as active citizens.

The successful candidate will have a relevant qualification in disability or community services and experience in working with people with disabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging in person-led practices to build individual and family capacity
  • Completing planning pathway tasks with participants in a timely manner
  • Engaging with service providers and support people with disabilities
  • Operating within Baptcare policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a cohesive team and participating in staff meetings and development
