Job Description
  • We provide personalized support and guidance to help our customers explore and develop their personal interests and hobbies.
  • Our team members coach independent living skills such as cooking, domestic and social skills, empowering our customers to live fulfilling lives.
  • Medication administration and adherence to individual support plans are crucial aspects of our care.
  • Careful record-keeping is essential for effective handover notes and incident reports.
  • We facilitate customer engagement with local communities and culture through access to Community Participation Programs and recreational activities.

About Us

We serve people with disabilities, young people, and children in Out of Home Care, along with their families and communities. Our dedicated workforce strives to deliver high-quality services that meet the diverse needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Mentor and guide customers in exploring and developing their personal interests and hobbies.
  2. Cooking, domestic, and social skills coaching empower our customers to achieve independence.
  3. Administering medication and adhering to individual support plans ensure our customers' well-being.
  4. Completing accurate and informative handover notes and incident reports is vital for our service.
  5. We facilitate connections between our customers and their local communities and culture.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Effective communication skills, including interacting with both verbal and non-verbal customers, are essential.
  • A current Australian Driver's License is mandatory.
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain one is required.
  • A Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID0011) is necessary.
  • Formal qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or similar fields can be advantageous.
