Youth Development Specialist

As a Youth Mentor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young people. Your role will be to empower them to develop their social skills, community connections, life skills, and independence.
This is an exciting chance to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and development of our youth programs.
The successful candidate will have the ability to provide one-on-one mentoring support and serve as a positive role model, supporting young people to engage with their community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing flexible service provision that is client-centred using an outreach model.
- Facilitating small groups to promote social connection & skill development.
- Organising activities that assist young people achieve their identified goals.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in a human services field or experience working in a similar role with vulnerable youth.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and NDIS Clearance.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work autonomously.
