About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospital practice, providing emergency veterinary services to a wide range of animals. As an Emergency Veterinarian, you will be responsible for undertaking all clinical aspects of emergency veterinary services, including diagnostics, routine examinations, and surgery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing emergency veterinary care to animals, including diagnostics, treatment, and surgery
  • Working as part of a large team of veterinarians, vet nurses, and support staff
  • Undertaking routine and complex surgeries, including caesareans
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans for emergency patients
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication with clients and staff

Requirements

  • Qualified Veterinarian with experience in emergency veterinary practice
  • Ability to work sole charge with nursing support, attending to overnight emergency presentations
  • Confidence and experience in routine surgery, diagnostics, treatment, and complex surgeries
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
