We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at GenesisCare Oncology, Albury. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of designing innovative treatments and care for people with cancer.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients with cancer, ensuring accurate and safe delivery of doses.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans that meet individual patient needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting understanding of treatment options and outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA and NSW EPA licence.
- Bachelor degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
- Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong empathy, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and multidisciplinary care.
