Ecologist (Field Opportunities)

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Field Ecologist to join our NSW ecology team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects, including ecological surveys and assessments, and contribute to the growth and development of our business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work in a field-based role, with a willingness to travel and conduct fieldwork in rural or remote regions. You will also have a demonstrated passion for flora and/or fauna, and experience in undertaking ecological surveys.
About You- A degree or post-graduate qualification in environmental science, botany, zoology, or a related field.
- Experience in conducting ecological fieldwork, including surveys and assessments.
- A strong understanding of NSW Plant Community Types and the ability to apply this knowledge in a field-based setting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Proficiency in GIS and electronic data capture, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
