We are currently seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated apprentices to join our team at the Australian Training Company. As a Certificate III Joinery Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn the trade from skilled professionals in a supportive environment.
About the RoleThis is an exciting chance to develop your skills in joinery, working with experienced craftsmen to create high-quality wooden structures and fixtures. Your journey will begin with learning fundamental woodworking techniques, progressing to project management, and culminating in the fabrication and installation of complex woodwork projects.
You will work closely with our team, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of joinery. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as basic math skills for measurements and calculations. If you have a passion for woodworking and are eager to learn, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist skilled joiners in the fabrication and installation of wooden structures and fixtures.
- Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Attend TAFE on regular basis.
- A genuine interest in woodworking and joinery.
- Strong willingness to learn and take direction.
