The Opportunity

We are seeking dynamic and forward-thinking Electrical Engineers to join our Network Connections and Network Capability teams. These roles provide significant exposure to concepts and practices at the technical forefront of the High Voltage Electrical Engineering profession and the opportunity to contribute to a greener future for generations to come.

As a Power System Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our network. Combining technical expertise with innovative thinking, you will oversee power system planning and optimize network performance. Your ability to transform complex challenges into practical solutions is essential for delivering a resilient and customer-centric power grid.

We are looking for talented individuals in permanent, full-time positions based out of Adelaide, South Australia. In addition to the above benefits, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Undertake system capability analysis, operational planning, and power system modelling
  • Provide expert advice to Business Development on customer connections
  • Manage connection technical assessments
  • Negotiate Generator Performance Standards

About You

We are looking for individuals with a passion for the Energy sector and a desire to help shape the future of Energy Transformation in Australia. In addition to the above requirements, you will possess:

  • Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience with PSS/E, PSCAD, Power Factory or other specialist analysis tools
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire and ability to acquire both technical and business knowledge/skills
  • Sound knowledge of the Australian Energy Network, National Electricity Market, and legislated industry requirements
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Eligible for membership of Engineers Australia
