We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team as a Service Engineer.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, and commissioning electrical equipment in-house and on-site. They will also provide emergency repairs and maintain equipment per quality control standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and service electrical equipment according to company operating specifications and customer requirements.
  • Respond to emergency repair requests and provide 24/7 standby support.
  • Liaise with technical staff to maintain and repair equipment per quality control standards.
  • Undertake training and provide technical support for customer staff and sub-contractors.
  • Perform tests on units using required tools and meters and prepare detailed reports.
  • Submit service reports within 24 hours of job completion.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Grade Electrician qualification.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a technical role servicing electrical or power electronics equipment.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP).
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • The ability to organize, prioritize, plan, follow up, and work autonomously.
