About the Role

The successful candidate will have a relevant University degree, current Queensland College of Teachers Registration, and experience in Science and HPE teaching. You will be responsible for delivering academic and wellbeing programs to students, supporting the delivery of vocational training programs, and collaborating with peers to plan and deliver structured lessons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs to students in Science and HPE
  • Support the Head of Campus/School in the operation of the campus to achieve educational, wellbeing, and vocational objectives
  • Collaborate with peers to plan, write, and deliver structured lessons that differentiate and personalise the learning for each student
  • Assess and provide meaningful and supportive feedback and report on student learning
  • Support students with a range of learning needs, including disabilities, behavioural disturbances, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADD/ADHD, low levels of literacy/numeracy, and mental illness
