**Laundry Assistant Role**

We are seeking a self-motivated Laundry Assistant to provide support in our laundry team. This permanent part-time role will report to the Laundry Supervisor at Joondalup Health Campus.

**Requirements**:

To succeed, you will be a positive and effective team player with excellent time management, organisational, and communication skills. You must demonstrate:

- Consistent attention to detail and care in day-to-day activities
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and manage labor-intensive tasks
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team
- Availability to work Afternoon and Evening shifts
- Sorting through soiled and dirty linen - separating by fabric, cleaning techniques or dirt content
- Loading cleaning machines, washers, and dryers
- Sort and count linen as removed from dryers
- Hang, fold, and wrap linen as required
- Operating machinery
- Maintaining legislated workplace health and safety practices
- A current National Police Clearance (not older than 6 months) and Working with Children clearance are essential requirements.
