Our hospital is a 189-bed facility that provides acute secondary care services to a vast region, with over 60% of admissions being Aboriginal people from remote communities.

The Renal Services department offers a wide range of services, including dialysis, transplant care, and chronic kidney disease management. With a growing patient population, we are looking for an experienced specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have current registration with AHPRA, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients with renal conditions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Participate in education and research activities to improve patient outcomes
  • Contribute to quality assurance and improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Trainees registered with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) for Advanced Training in Nephrology or dual Advanced Training in Nephrology and General Medicine
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
