We are seeking an experienced Commercial Leasing Specialist to join our team on an on-site basis in Adelaide or Perth. This role will provide comprehensive transaction management for properties within the portfolio, supporting the national Retail Leasing Manager & Retail Leasing Director with the implementation of strategy set out by the Retail Business.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Lease Executive within a retail environment, a relevant State Real Estate Licence/Sub-Agents Licence, and strong financial acumen to enable the creation of monthly financial and productivity reporting. They will also possess exceptional interpersonal skills to operate as a key member of the wider retail team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Negotiation of Retail Branch Lease transactions
  • Management and execution of property and leasing services including commercial performance, client liaison, budget control.
  • Negotiation to secure lease and incentive on behalf of the client for all lease renewals, relocations and refurbishments.
  • Negotiations of rents to ensure within market levels.
  • In consultation with the national Retail Leasing Manager, develop and implement strategies, policies and procedures to ensure the best possible outcome for the Client.
  • Provide and review information sent to the Lease Administrator and to ensure all data bases are accurate.
  • Ensure the Leasing minutes are updated in a timely manner to incorporate all changes.
  • Ensure CPI and fixed reviews are updated within Portfolio via the Lease Administrators.
  • Investigating the market to ensure knowledge of local areas for future developments.
  • Proactively develop and manage the relationship with the client to ensure service delivery expectations are exceeded.
  • Prepare regular reports, within specified timeframes, detailing property status and performance including recommendations on Lease negotiations.

This role offers a competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth and development.
