Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer the task of safely transferring full pallets to racking, trucks, and storage areas.
  • Load restraint of outbound trucks and trailers.
  • Perform manual labor, including loading and unloading forklifts when required.
  • Sort carton freight effectively and prioritize runs for loading.
  • Follow compliance with good manufacturing practices and good hygiene practices.

Requirements:

  • Must have a forklift license and previous experience (5 years minimum).
  • Must have line haul loading/unloading experience.
  • Must have the ability to sort carton freight effectively.
  • Must have experience in prioritizing runs and loading accordingly.
  • Must follow compliance with good manufacturing practices and good hygiene practices.
  • Must perform pre-operational checks on forklifts to ensure it is safe to operate by maintaining a log book of operations.
  • Must administrate the task of safely transferring full pallets to racking, trucks, and storage areas.
  • Must be able to load restraint of outbound trucks and trailers.
  • Must have a positive mindset and be reliable.
  • Must be looking for long-term work.
  • Must be able to perform the task of moving raw materials, finished goods, and product bins for processing, dispatch or storage in a safe manner.
  • Must be willing to do manual labor including loading and unloading forklifts when required.
