Residential Construction Contract Manager

This role involves overseeing contracts for residential projects, from negotiating and managing contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Law, or a similar field, and 5+ years of experience as a Contracts Administrator in residential or commercial construction. They will be experienced in managing projects from start to finish, have great communication skills, and a proactive approach with strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiating and managing contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
  • Handling variations, claims, and disputes with confidence
  • Monitoring project progress, costs, and risks
  • Collaborating with stakeholders including site managers, architects, and clients
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards
Requirements
  • A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Law, or a similar field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Contracts Administrator in residential or commercial construction
  • A proven track record of managing projects from start to finish
  • Great communication skills
  • A proactive approach and strong attention to detail
