About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Delivery Associate to join our team at Bradnam's Windows and Doors.

As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering manufactured windows and doors products to our growing customer base across the Townsville region. Your primary focus will be on ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods, maintaining a high level of customer service, and upholding a commitment to workplace health and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, adhering to all relevant regulations and company standards.
  • Ensure all items on the back of trucks and trailers are securely fastened before travel, prioritizing the safety of both yourself and others on the road.
  • Practice good hygiene and sanitation procedures at all times, promoting a healthy work environment.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and check sheets in a timely manner, meeting state and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to good housekeeping practices within the branch, maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Demonstrate and uphold a strong commitment to safe work practices, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation in accordance with State and Federal Regulations.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery instructions, providing clear and concise information.
  • Comply with site-specific requirements regarding personal protective equipment (PPE), sign-in processes, and other established protocols.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you must possess safe manual handling techniques and a positive work ethic. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A current driver's license (manual) with a clean driving record.
  • A construction white card.
  • Prior truck driving experience.
  • A commitment to workplace health and safety practices, including safe manual handling and lifting heavy loads.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
