Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Chef to join our team at the Qantas Lounges in Brisbane. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and beverage experiences for our valued Qantas guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional food quality and presentation.
- Monitor kitchen equipment and report maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance and food safety.
- Develop and implement new menu concepts and culinary ideas to enhance our food and beverage offerings.
- Collaborate with our food and beverage team to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations, as well as Accor's quality and service standards.
Requirements
- Qualified Chef with a passion for culinary excellence and customer service.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience in high-pressure kitchen environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Sound computer proficiency and ability to adapt to new technology.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
