Veterinary Nurse

**Job Summary**
VetPartners is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Figtree Veterinary Clinic on a casual basis. As a Veterinary Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dedicated team of veterinary professionals.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide personable and professional customer service to clients and their pets.
- Perform triage services, standard nurse consultations, and animal restraint as required.
- Assist with venipuncture, intravenous catheter placement, and blood sample collection.
- Support veterinary consultations and provide administrative assistance as needed.
- Contribute to stock rotation and control.
**Ideal Candidate**
- Hold a Veterinary Nurse Cert IV qualification or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a veterinary setting.
- Embody our clinic values of empathy, compassion, integrity, and excellence.
- Be organized, efficient, and able to multitask in a fast-paced veterinary environment.
- Be able to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Enjoy a varied caseload and be willing to adapt to changing situations.
- Be computer literate and proficient in using RxWorks.
- Be committed to working weekend shifts on a rotating roster.
