Role Summary

The After Kindy Hours Care (AKHC) Coordinator plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.

This position requires an individual who is passionate about early childhood education and care, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the team to maintain a well-structured and organized learning environment.

  • Develop and implement an educational program that aligns with national curriculum EYLF and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
  • Observe, plan for, and document children's learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless and efficient delivery of services.
  • Establish meaningful relationships with children, parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum Certificate III qualification in a field directly relevant to early childhood education and care.
  • Experience working in early childhood settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A current Blue Card (Paid Employee).
  • Completed child protection training is advantageous.
