This role requires a self-sufficient and motivated individual with extensive experience in satellite solutions design. You will oversee all requirements and dependencies of tasks allocated to you, collaborate with functional teams, and provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff.

The day-to-day provision of timely and insightful technical input into tender responses, as well as the development and implementation of hardware solutions for mobile and fixed satellite services, is crucial to this role. Your expertise will be essential in providing senior engineering level support and technical mentoring to our engineers.

What You'll Need
  • A relevant engineering degree with demonstrated ability in the satellite communications industry.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen capable of achieving a Defence Clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing solutions in a pre-sales environment (bids/RFT's/RFQ's).
What Will Help You Succeed
  • Experience in IT, particularly as it applies to satellite communications and networking.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft and Linux based operating system installation and configuration.
  • Proficiency in the development of maintenance documentation and support programmes for developed solutions based on OEM component documentation.
  • Self-starter and innovative individuals who can push boundaries to find the best possible solutions to our customers' problems.
