Legal Expertise: We are seeking a seasoned attorney to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support in the area of commercial property and leasing.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing and drafting agreements, leases, and licenses related to commercial properties.
  • Conducting due diligence lease reviews for mergers and acquisitions transactions and analyzing lease portfolios for assignments of lease and change of control provisions for company restructurings.
  • Providing expert advice on retail lease legislation and broader property laws.
  • Representing clients in both landlord and tenant roles, ensuring their interests are effectively represented.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across disciplines for disputes and acquisitions and disposals with a leasing component.
  • Liaising and communicating with clients, including running advice consults over video calls and providing written technical advice.
  • Assisting with complex lease negotiations.
  • Managing client leasing portfolios and providing strategic advice.
 Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in commercial property and leasing in a recognized firm or in-house legal team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and focus on what matters.
  • Pleasure in working with smart, fun, and passionate people and learning from them.
