Clinical Director Position

The role of a Clinical Director plays a pivotal part in leading and managing nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care. A key responsibility is to develop and implement strategies to enhance patient outcomes.

  • Develop effective plans to improve patient outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff to achieve organizational goals.
  • Manage and supervise nursing staff to ensure the delivery of quality care.

Responsibilities:

Nursing Leadership
  • Offer guidance and support to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to implement changes and improvements.
Quality Improvement
  • Analyze areas for quality improvement and develop strategic plans to address them.
  • Collaborate with other teams to implement changes and improvements.

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
  • Current practicing license from country of origin with valid registration from relevant authorities as a senior specialist.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in an acute hospital setting, including four (4) years in a leadership position.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in manpower planning.
  • Background in healthcare nursing departments.

Desirable Skills:

  • Diversity in clinical skills.
  • High standard of clinical nursing and management skills.
  • Strong statistical and administrative abilities.

Personal Qualities:

  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Discretion and tact when dealing with staff and confidential matters.
