Job Title: Visual Storyteller

The Australian Army Reserve is seeking a skilled Visual Storyteller to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing and delivering high-quality visual content, including photos and videos of ADF operations, training exercises, and international engagement.

About the Role
  • Capture professional quality photos and videos of ADF operations, training exercises, and other activities
  • Process and upload imagery quickly to meet news media deadlines
  • Edit short and engaging videos for social media platforms
  • Provide photography and videography training to ADF members and military personnel from other countries
  • Advise Public Affairs Officers and commanders on opportunities and requirements for capturing newsworthy imagery
Key Responsibilities:
  • Taking professional quality photos and videos of ADF operations, training exercises, and other activities
  • Quickly processing and uploading imagery to meet news media deadlines
  • Editing short and engaging videos for social media platforms
  • Providing photography and videography training to ADF members and military personnel from other countries
  • Advising Public Affairs Officers and commanders on opportunities and requirements for capturing newsworthy imagery
