Job Title: Support Worker
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker. In this role, you will provide personalized support to individuals with disabilities, helping them to achieve their goals and live independently.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Monitor and assist clients with medication administration.
- Support clients to build capacity by addressing their needs and goals.
- Perform administrative duties and participate in case reviews.
- Record accurate client interactions and case noting.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in disability or Age care (desired but not necessary)
- Practical personal care experience (desired but not necessary)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of $28.95 - $74.77 per hour
- A variety of shift options available, including afternoon, day, evening, morning, and night shifts
- Overtime pay and penalty rates applicable
Additional Requirements:
- Current Police Check (essential)
- Experience in mental health (desirable)
