We are seeking a dynamic and innovative educator to join our school community as an Auslan Teacher. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centred, safe, supportive, co-operative, and aligned with relevant curriculum, policies, and practices.

• Develop and implement quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy in collaboration with colleagues.
• Assess, provide feedback, and report on student learning to ensure academic excellence.
• Contribute to the professional life of the school by working with the school leadership team and colleagues.
• Engage in professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes and stay up-to-date with best practices in education.
• Embed the teachings and values of the Catholic Church in learning and teaching to foster a strong sense of community and social responsibility.

• Relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience in Auslan Sign Language.
• Strong literacy, numeracy, and digital literacy practices, with a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum.
• Commitment to child safety and a strong sense of social responsibility.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, students, and parents/carers.
• Proven organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice, and engagement.
