Job Opportunity: Lifestyle Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator to oversee the delivery of leisure and lifestyle programs in our care homes. This role is a key member of our team, responsible for promoting emotional and physical rehabilitation through recreational activities that promote holistic wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of staff to deliver person-first leisure and lifestyle programs
  • Provide quality care to residents and support them to maintain their skill levels, independence, and mobility
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to plan and organize recreational activity programs
  • Ensure individual resident needs, values, spiritual, and cultural preferences are taken into account when providing recreational care
  • Complete documented assessments to determine resident capabilities, needs, and problems
  • Comply with infection control and work health and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Leisure and Lifestyle (desired)
  • Degree level qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of Resident Rights and Aged Care Accreditation Standards
