Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our daily production process, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met. The successful candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities- Production Oversight: Coordinate and manage production operations to ensure schedules are followed and production targets are achieved.
- Staff Management: Supervise, train, and mentor production operators to equip them with necessary skills and knowledge.
- Quality Control: Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and report any issues to the Quality Assurance team.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and work with OHS to implement safety initiatives and manage incident reporting and risk mitigation.
- Schedule & Rostering: Coordinate staff rosters, manage breaks, and ensure appropriate coverage to maintain continuous production flow.
- Equipment & Maintenance: Ensure production equipment is maintained according to schedule and kept in good working condition to prevent breakdowns.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with departments like Logistics, Planning, and HR to ensure smooth operations and resolve any production-related issues.
- Documentation & Reporting: Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on time, including compliance records, performance reports, and safety reports.
- Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop production teams, ensuring high performance and effective collaboration.
- Operational Expertise: Solid understanding of production processes, equipment, and safety protocols, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Quality & Safety Focus: A strong commitment to maintaining high quality standards and safety compliance, with experience implementing and enforcing safety practices on the production floor.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams and report to senior management.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve operational challenges, improve processes, and ensure minimal downtime or disruptions.
- Training & Development: Experience in training, mentoring, and up-skilling staff to ensure they meet performance expectations and safety requirements.
- Time Management & Organisational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on meeting production goals.
- Flexible & Adaptable: Willingness to adapt to changing needs and work under pressure while maintaining a positive and results-driven attitude.
- Competitive Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on experience, reflecting the importance of the role within the business.
