In this role, you will be responsible for providing senior leadership to fellow inpatient social workers, proactive service development, education, and supervision. You will draw upon your extensive clinical expertise to deliver top-tier care within a multidisciplinary framework.
As a Social Work Team Leader in Oncology Services, you will operate autonomously within our team, providing comprehensive assessment, crisis intervention, and counseling, alongside facilitating seamless transitions to community services and support networks.
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Social Work, with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). They will also have demonstrated experience in social work, particularly in the Neurology area, and a well-developed understanding of psychosocial issues that arise for patients/clients and their families during chronic and acute illness and trauma.
