Data Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Technical Security Expert to join our team. This is a hands-on delivery role where you will work directly with clients to deliver Microsoft Data Security projects, with a focus on the Microsoft Purview suite of tools.
As a Technical Security Expert, you will be responsible for implementing solutions, configuring policies, and applying best practices to enhance data security, compliance, and governance. You will work across multiple engagements, translating client requirements into practical technical solutions and ensuring successful delivery from planning through to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement robust data security solutions
- Configure and optimize security controls in line with industry best practices
- Deliver Microsoft Purview implementations end-to-end, including data discovery, classification, encryption, and governance
- Collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Purview, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection (MIP), Data Governance, and Insider Risk Management
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and KQL for data queries
- Knowledge of data security principles, Zero Trust architecture, and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, ISO)
- Proven experience delivering Microsoft Purview implementations and related Microsoft security technologies
