Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Underwriter to manage client relationships and support our brokerage clients.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Expertise in the insurance sector, specifically in underwriting, with a track record of managing risks.
  • Qualification in insurance, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience working with Brokers and the ability to build strategic relationships.
  • A customer-focused mindset and the ability to partner with internal stakeholders to support positive customer outcomes.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assessing motor insurance risks and ensuring adherence to guidelines and standards.
  • Managing quotations, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations efficiently.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers and service providers, including reinsurers.
  • Resolving problems and having open communication with Brokers.
  • Responding to enquiries, complaints, and opportunities effectively.
  • Aligning business offerings with divisional objectives and portfolio strategies.
  • Ensuring adherence to industry regulations, legal requirements, and company policies.
