Experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner – Western Melbourne

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team at Everyday Independence. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will deliver best-practice, person-centered support to people who use challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver best-practice, person-centered support to people who use challenging behaviours.
- Build long-term relationships with people and their support networks.
- Help people create a vision for a life without restrictions and with positive interactions, activities, and experiences.
- Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience working as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
- Compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards, NDIS Restrictive Practices and Behaviour Support Rules 2018, Services Agreement, and Everyday Independence's Code of Conduct.
- Ability to use research evidence and professional reasoning when recommending PBS therapy strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
