About the Role

Fuse Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our client's Claims team. As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and overseeing the Desktop Home Assessing Team, who are responsible for virtual assessments of impacted properties, cost validation, and end-to-end management of claims assigned to them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize ongoing training and coaching to the team to ensure consistency and effectiveness in their approach to virtual assessments and validation of scopes of works.
  • Ensure the Desktop Home Assessors are consistent and effective in their approach to virtual assessments and validation of scopes of works.
  • Develop and implement cost control strategies to identify areas of improvement and deliver planned cost outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Track, monitor, and report on KPIs to ensure productivity and quality metrics meet expectations.
Requirements
  • Experience managing a team in a call centre background is essential.
  • Experience in home assessing and/or the building industry is desirable.
  • Previous insurance and/or estimating experience is desirable.
  • Construction trade qualifications OR working in a similar position is essential.
  • Strong People Leadership skills, including proven development of people through providing guidance and support, performance managing, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Effective Cost Control skills, including implementation and refinement of cost control strategies, identifying areas of improvement, and delivering planned cost outcomes.
  • Relationship Management skills, including building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Performance and Progress reporting experience, including tracking, monitoring, and reporting on KPIs to ensure productivity and quality metrics meet expectations.
