The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking highly skilled Community Disability Support Workers to join our team in Ringwood. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to a customer, promoting independence and autonomy in their daily life. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assistance with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and hygiene maintenance
  • Support with medication management, including dispensation of prescription medication
  • Ambulation on community activities, fostering social connections and engagement
  • Catheter care and other vital aspects of personal care

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum one year of experience in Disability Support Work
  • Current NDIS Clearance, First Aid certification (3 years), CPR certification (12 months), and National Police Clearance - or a willingness to obtain these qualifications
  • Previous experience working with Multiple Sclerosis and Osteoporosis
  • Prior experience in catheter care
