Job Overview
As an Injury Management Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of employees. Your primary responsibility will be to manage work and non-work-related injuries, ensuring early intervention and smooth return-to-work processes.
The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of injury and claims management, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and effective claims processing. This includes coordinating and monitoring injury management in line with return-to-work policies, aligning with legislative requirements.
You will serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on workers' compensation claims, facilitating clear communication and efficient claim resolution. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Health and Safety team and internal partners to provide expert guidance on injury management strategies, offering regular feedback and updates to key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage work and non-work-related injuries, ensuring early intervention and smooth return-to-work processes.
- Oversight of all aspects of injury and claims management, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Coordinating and monitoring injury management in line with return-to-work policies.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in workplace injury management.
- Thorough understanding of workers' compensation legislation and industry best practices.
- Desirable background in Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, or Occupational Therapy.
