We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team at Early Start Australia.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work with children and their families, providing therapy services and support in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support families in implementing therapy strategies into their daily lives through coaching, clinic-based therapy, and community-based programs.
  • Work closely with experienced OTs and SLPs to develop and extend clinical practice, ensuring high-quality therapy services and supports.
  • Ensure ongoing communication and collaboration with key stakeholders to provide quality therapy services.
Requirements
  • Passion for making a difference in the lives of children and their families.
  • No prior qualification is required, but experience working with children and families with additional needs is highly desirable.
  • Working towards or completed an OT qualification.
  • Awareness of the NDIS.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and autonomously in the community.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle for community visits.
  • Ability to obtain or have Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS Workers Screening Check, CPR, and First Aid certification.
