The Glennie School is an Anglican school for girls in Toowoomba, providing an exceptional education for Kindergarten to Year 12 students with boarding from Year 5. About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Educator to join our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) team. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in a fun and engaging environment.
The position involves working with children and young people in a fun-loving environment and providing them with the opportunity to learn and grow through play. Our Vacation Care program is filled with exciting activities, incursions, and excursions.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering educational experiences to our children and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment. The successful applicant will be a team player who is able to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
The successful applicant must be supportive of the ethos of Anglican Schools and hold the following certifications:
- current paid blue card or exemption card;
- current First Aid certificate (HLTAID012);
- current CPR certificate (HLTAID009);
- approved Certificate III qualification, OR approved diploma level qualification, OR working towards.
Desirable qualifications include a Diploma in Children's Services (Early Childhood Education and Care) or a Certificate III education and care qualification.
Experience in the childcare industry is essential, and the successful applicant will have a high level of interpersonal skills to work and effectively communicate with the OSHC team members and other School staff.
