Job Overview

This role plays a pivotal part in shaping and implementing an emerging data strategy and technical capability within the Department of Education.

The successful candidate will lead a multi-year program consisting of five projects, establishing a centralised repository for key data across the organisation.

  • Manage program plans, timelines and processes to ensure project level outputs are delivered on time and to high quality standards.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and manage relationships with stakeholders to deliver projects and programs successfully.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors and partners, and provide coaching and mentoring to project teams.

Achieving this requires experience operating within large and complex ICT programs, strong stakeholder management and engagement skills, and experience in managing project management teams. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex organisational structures.
