We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Risk Consultant to join our team at AXA XL. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for evaluating account risk quality, coordinating loss prevention services, and supporting our profitable growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate account risk quality using internal and external information, tools, and resources.
- Conduct property risk surveys to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage the scope and scale of loss prevention services delivered to clients, balancing client expectations, underwriting requirements, and service cost constraints.
- Work directly with clients to improve their property risk profile and develop customized risk management plans.
- Support the sales and marketing effort by promoting our brand and service capabilities to prospective clients and brokers.
- Participate in process improvements and special projects to enhance the environment at AXA XL.
- Extensive fire protection risk engineering experience.
- Industry experience in property loss prevention or account consultant position.
- Excellent knowledge of NFPA codes and FM data sheets.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Broad understanding of key underwriting decision points.
- Strong customer relationship and negotiation skills.
- Proficient presentation skills, including written and verbal.
- Ability to summarize large amounts of information and deliver against deadlines.
- Knowledge of functionality of IT systems.
- Skilled in time management and work techniques.
- B.S. in Engineering (or equivalent) required.
- Professional designations including Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and/or Professional Engineer (PE) in Fire Protection preferred.
