Skilled Tradesperson

Job Opportunity: Shift Maintenance FitterWe are seeking an experienced and trade qualified individual to join our team of over 50 qualified tradesmen to work across two production sites.This is a full-time position working on a lifestyle roster, with 12-hour shifts and a 7-day rest period every four weeks.

About the RoleThis role involves providing technical knowledge and solutions for the hands-on day-to-day maintenance of mechanical plant and equipment.The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting site production teams, improving reliability, and carrying out preventative maintenance programs across production areas to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

Your Responsibilities

• Resolve day-to-day maintenance issues in a team environment.
• Provide technical support to both maintenance and production personnel.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and continuous improvement tasks.
• Diagnostics and fault-finding techniques of mechanical equipment and rectification of faults.
• Breakdown maintenance efficiently.
• Prioritization, planning, and organization of tasks.
• Strong communication skills.
• Compliance to industry standard practices.

Requirements

• Mechanical Trade Certificate.
• Experience as a Fitter and Turner in a similar role.
• Absolute commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Good level of IT literacy/computer skills including data entry.
• Experience in using CMMS (MEX) or similar.
• High Risk License in Dogging, Mobile Crane, and Working at Heights desirable.
• Current Driver's License.
