AFTERNOON / NIGHT SHIFT VOICE PICKERS FORKLIFT BLACKTOWN LOCATION

Our business partner is a leading global organization that delivers cutting-edge supply chain management systems and cost-effective logistics solutions to the food industry.

Positions on offer will predominantly be night shifts, with working hours from 9pm to 5am, Monday to Sunday.

Training will be conducted over a 2-week period, with sessions held on mid-morning and afternoon shifts from 11:30am to 1:30pm, requiring flexibility.

The base pay rate is $43-$44 per hour, plus overtime and penalties.

This role requires weekend work, including Saturdays and Sundays. If you are unable to commit to this roster, please do not apply.

Key Selection Criteria:
  • Knowledge of the warehousing industry
  • Current forklift licence and high reach experience are essential
  • Previous experience working in cold storage, including freezer work at minus 25 degrees
  • Experience with pick & pack and knowledge of stacking cartons on pallets
  • Previous experience with voice picking
  • Experience with pallet stacking
  • Availability to work a 7-day roster, including weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)
  • Availability for day and afternoon shifts
  • Flexibility to work overtime
  • Physical fitness and good health
  • Good communication skills
  • A strong and reliable work history
  • Two work-related referees
  • Current driver's licence and own reliable transport
  • Team player
Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • Safe operation of electric pallet jacks
  • Current forklift licence
  • Experience with voice picking (advantageous but not essential, as training is provided)
  • Demonstrating a sound understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Competent level of numeracy and literacy skills
  • Initiative to make a contribution to the business
