The Queensland Traffic Management Centre (STMC) operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to support travelers on the state-controlled road network. As a Traffic Management Operator, you will be the first point of contact for stakeholders and the public, coordinating responses to traffic incidents, signal failures, and maintenance issues.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to work with state-of-the-art systems and collaborate with a great team based on the Gold Coast. Your duties will include:

  • Coordinating responses to traffic incidents, calls, signal failures, and maintenance issues.
  • Implementing incident management procedures to assist with the coordination of traffic diversion.
  • Monitoring the road network using CCTV and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).
  • Broadcasting regular traffic information and updates.
  • Completing incident and event reports.
